Fibocom Accelerates its Commercialization of 5G in the North American Market

The completion of the three most important compulsory certifications in North America is another milestone for Fibocom’s 5G module business to officially march in the North American market.
FCC, IC and PTCRB certifications are the most authoritative compulsory product certifications in North America. The completion of these three certifications shows that Fibocom’s FM150-NA’s product protocol compatibility fully meets the complex environment of operator networks, and its RF performance and data performance satisfy standard design objectives. Meanwhile, Fibocom has already done a lot of pilot and pre-research work with North American customers on CPE, MiFi, pan-video and other multi-form, multi-scene 5G terminals. Passing these three certifications means that Fibocom’s 5G module FM150-NA has crossed the threshold of North American market and can be directly discussed on commercial deployments.
Fibocom’s FM150-NA 5G module is a 5G wireless communication module released for the North American market, supporting 5G standalone network (SA) and non-standalone network (NSA) network architectures. While it supports the 5G Sub 6 and mm wave bands, it is also compatible with LTE and WCDMA standards. This eliminates customers’ concern on investment in the initial stages of 5G construction as it helps customers quickly implement 5G applications in different network conditions.
