Fibocom FM160 is a NR Sub-6 module based on 3GPP Release 16 technology, developed with the X62 modem. It supports a maximum downlink rate of 3.5 Gbps and a maximum uplink rate of 900 Mbps, delivering high-performance, low-latency networks. FM160 adopts a 30.0 x 52.0 x 2.3 mm M.2 standard form factor and is compatible with Fibocom’s FM150 5G module, allowing flexible development of end devices. FM160 supports China Mobile networks and enables data communication across NR, LTE-TDD, LTE-FDD, and WCDMA network standards. It features GNSS positioning, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS integrated satellite navigation systems, simplifying product design while significantly improving positioning speed and accuracy. The module is built with rich network protocols and integrates multiple industry-standard interfaces, including USIM, USB 3.1/3.0/2.0, PCIe 4.0, and I2S. It also supports multiple drivers and software platforms such as Linux, Android, and Windows, greatly expanding its applications in industrial IoT, vehicle networking, smart cities, smart agriculture, smart mining, and smart power industries, including CPEs, industrial routers, ODUs, IPCs, and robots.
