Gene Santana Has Joined Fibocom Joint Venture Rolling Wireless as VP Carrier Technical Relations

Shenzhen China – December 8th, 2020 – Fibocom (Stock Code: 300638), a leading global provider of IoT (Internet of Things) wireless solution and wireless communication modules, today announced that Gene Santana has been appointed as the Vice President of Carrier Technical Relations of Rolling WirelessTechnology Co., Limited, a joint venture company invested by Fibocom and other three professional investment institutions.

Gene Santana commenced in the role on December 1st, 2020. His role is to work with Rolling Wireless’s R&D team on a Global basis to support carrier relations and certification as well as to support the Fibocom IoT business in North America.

Gene has more than 25 years of experience in carrier management, advanced technology and wireless industries, having held senior leadership positions at BlackBerry, Freescale Semiconductor and Motorola. He has served as the Head of Carrier Technical Operations Team at BlackBerry for the past ten years, and had led numerous successful cases in driving device launches, certifications, technical acceptances, and field support. Gene was Global Customer Program Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, responsible for "best-in-class" customer support and reference design development support, and held numerous positions at Motorola as Engineering Manager in Cellular R&D and RF Functional Manager, developing cutting edge wireless devices and antenna structures.
