Fibocom MGB280-A is a multi-GNSS positioning module that supports BDS B1I/B1C, GPS L1 C/A, GLONASS G1, Galileo E1B/C, and QZSS L1C/A, delivering meter-level positioning accuracy (GNSS 1.5m CEP). With 96 tracking channels and an update rate of 1-10Hz, the module achieves a hot start TTFF of only 1s and a cold start of 28s, and offers outstanding sensitivity of -164 dBm for tracking and navigation. The module adopts a compact 18 PIN LCC form factor of 10.1 x 9.7 x 2.0 mm and supports Flash programming for firmware upgrades. It features built-in LNA & SAW, a TCXO oscillator, and integrated antenna open-circuit detection and short-circuit protection, supporting both active and passive antennas. With UART and I2C interfaces and low power consumption, MGB280-A is well suited for asset tracking, telematics, and smart metering applications.
