5G ODU (Outdoor Unit) & IDU (Indoor Unit)
Outdoor Unit (ODU) is a FWA device that is responsible for completing the frequency conversion and amplification of the signal. It enables network operators to cost-effectively provide high-speed connectivity to customers over last mile access. 5G ODU installed outside the buildings can receive the signal from the base station, and by connecting to the indoor unit (IDU), it can offer 5G high-speed connectivity for homes and businesses. 5G IDU, after receiving data from ODU, will in turn transmits data to mobile or fixed terminals via Wi-Fi.
