Fibocom Introduces Dual-Frequency GNSS Module G010, Offering Dependable Positioning Performance with Low Power Consumption

Fibocom launched high-performance, dual-frequency GNSS positioning module G010. Supporting multi-constellation global navigation systems, the module offers cost-effective GNSS solution for location-intensive IoT applications.

Adopting compact size and up-to-date power management technology, G010 is an ideal solution for location-intensive IoT applications such as real-time asset tracking and sharing economy.

Fibocom’s G010 module is a cost-effective GNSS positioning module supporting multi-constellation global navigation systems, including BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. With the size of 10.1x9.7x2.5mm, the compact module allows much flexibility and ease of integration for customer's application. It also optimizes power consumption without compromising GNSS performance, improving cost performance and competitive advantages,

Integrating low-noise amplifier (LNA) architecture and SAW filter, G010 delivers superior jamming immunity, which can acquire high-sensitivity positioning as well as rapid signal tracking and acquisition. Moreover, the module supports Assisted GNSS (A-GNSS), improving the sensibility of signal acquisition process in shorter time, even under weak signal environment. Coming with offline ephemeris feature, it can extend the operating time to up to 6 days. The module also supports short circuit protection and open circuit detection for active antenna.

Mass production of the G010 module is now available.
