Fibocom SC226 is a multi-mode smart LTE Category 4 communication module, powered by the Qualcomm SM6225 chipset, offering superior performance and power efficiency. It features an Octa-core processor (4× A73 @ 2.4 GHz + 4× A53 @ 1.9 GHz) and a high-performance graphics engine for powerful image processing. The module is integrated with a low-power island (LPI) DSP for sensors and audio, and the high-performance CPU supports smooth AI algorithm execution. The SM6225 chipset is built using a 6 nm manufacturing process for optimized power consumption. SC226 adopts an LCC + LGA form factor and is compatible with Fibocom smart modules SC126, SC206, SU806, and SC636, offering customers flexibility to migrate among different technologies. It is designed to serve the global market with worldwide 4G LTE frequency band support. The SC226 supports global 4G LTE networks, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless communication technology. It also supports global GNSS positioning systems, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS, enabling high-performance positioning and navigation. The module comes with an open Android operating system and supports in-time system upgrades. It is designed with a rich set of interfaces, including MIPI, USB, UART, SPI, and I2C, providing flexibility and ease of integration to meet various IoT application requirements. The Fibocom smart module SC226 can be widely used in industries such as smart POS, industrial handhelds, wearable cameras, PoC terminals, in-vehicle applications, smart home, and more.
